Police are searching for two men in connection with the robbery of a Salem woman early Thursday as she tried to make a night bank deposit.
The 19-year-old woman, whose name police would not release, was making a deposit about 12:30 a.m. at First Virginia Bank in the 100 block of Electric Road in Salem.
She told police two men wearing ski masks approached her.
One of the men carried a pistol and grabbed the deposit bag, which contained an undisclosed amount of cash, said Sgt. T.N. Guthrie. The suspects were last seen by the victim fleeing on foot.
Police would not say where the woman was employed.
