Basham-Jenkins

Mr. and Mrs. Harry J. Basham of Roanoke are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Wendi Jo, to Gary Wayne Jenkins, son of Mr. and Mrs. James R. Jenkins, Jr. of Roanoke. The wedding is planned for August 31, 1996 in Bedford, Va.

Berman-Bishop

Jodi Denise Berman and Gregory Roger Bishop are engaged and planning to be married on July 21, 1996 in McLean, Va. She is a daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Robert S. Berman of McLean, Va. She is a graduate of Langley High School, the University of Florida, and Emory University School of Law. She is self-employed.

He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Roger L. Bishop of Roanoke, Va. He is a graduate of Northside High School and James Madison University. He will be attending the University of Richmond School of Law starting in August.

Erb-Godzwa

Jennifer Sue Erb and Michael A. Godzwa are engaged and planning to be married on June 15, 1996 in Erie, Pa. She is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James L. Erb of Salem, Va. She is a graduate of Salem High School and plans to graduate from Central Bible College, Springfield, Mo. in May of 1997. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Godzwa of Woodland, Ca., and Joy Godzwa-Baney of Erie, Pa. He is a graduate of Strong Vincent High School and Central Bible College, Springfield, Mo. He is employed by Light for the Lost Men's Ministries of the Assembly of God Conference

Fitzwater-Highberger

Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. Fitzwater, of Roanoke, proudly announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Kay Fitzwater, to Clayton Scott Highberger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clayton F. Highberger of Salem. Amanda is employed by Robinson & Associates, Inc. Scott is a senior at Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Virginia and plans to graduate in June with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry. Their wedding is to be on August 3, 1996.

Hart-Hicks

Nancy Lee Hart and Kevin Oliver Hicks are engaged and planning to be married on July 6, 1996 in Richmond. She is a daughter of Eloise Hart of Webster, Fla., and the late George E. Hart. She is a graduate of the University of West Florida and is employed by J.C. Penney as a senior merchandise manager.

He is a son of Dr. and Mrs. James Hicks, Jr. of Blacksburg. He is a graduate of The College of William and Mary and is currently a medical student at the Medical College of Virginia.

Helm-Robinson

Mr. and Mrs. William M. Helm of Salem are pleased to announce t he engagement of their daughter, Meredith Leslie, to Ronald Eugene Robinson, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Audley C. Robinson.

Meredith graduated from Salem High School in 1990 and from Virginia Tech in 1994. She is employed by Design Business Interiors as an Interior Designer.

Ronnie is a 1980 graduate from Patrick Henry High School and is employed by Crystal Springs Dialysis as a Dialysis Technician.

A wedding is being planned for August 24, 1996

Huffman-Ross

Mr. and Mrs. Michael W. Huffman of Troutville are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Beth Ann, to Brian Michael Ross, son of Judith Ross of Wyndmoor, Pa. and Kenneth Ross of Buffalo, Mn.|

Miss Huffman attended Lord Botetourt High School and is a 1995 graduate of Virginia Tech. She is currently employed by Branch Banking and Trust in Winston-Salem, NC, as a Management Development Associate.|

Mr. Ross is a 1995 graduate of Virginia Tech. He is currently employed by Piedmont Olsen Hensley in Raleigh, NC as a Structural Engineer.|

The wedding is planned for September 28, 1996 at Edgewood Christian Church in Salem.

Humphries-Roper

Dr. and Mrs. William Howell Humphries of Roanoke, Virginia are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Annelise Humphries, to Mr. Leighton Parks Roper, III, son of Mrs. David Randall Dougherty of Pottstown, Pennsylvania, and Mr. Leighton Parks Roper, Jr. of Arlington, Virginia.

Miss Humphries is a graduate of North Cross School and Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. She is an account manager for NMC Homecare in Richmond, Virginia.

Mr. Roper is a graduate of the Episcopal High School in Alexandria, Virginia, and the University of Virginia. He is a political consultant for Cunningham Harris Associates and will enter law school in August, 1996.

A July 27, 1996, wedding in Salem, Virginia, is planned with Bishop A. Heath Light officiating.

Meador-Banks

Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. Meador announce the engagement of their daughter, Victoria Lynn, to Mr. Joel Patrick Banks, son of Mr. Joseph P. Banks of North Carolina and Ms. Wanda Ratcliffe of Roanoke. The two will be married on September 7, 1996 at Glad Tidings Assembly of God.

Petrazio-Hall

Mr. and Mrs. Mark Petrazio of Smith Mountain Lake and Mr. and Mrs. Lee Hall of Salem, Va. are proud to announce the engagement of their children, Kimberly Petrazio and Reginald Hall. The couple will be married on October 12, 1996, at Salem Baptist Church.

Shive-Erb

Amy Elizabeth Shive and Geoffrey Alan Erb are engaged and planning to be married May 25, 1996 in Mechanicsburg, Pa. She is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Shive of Macungie, Pa. She is a graduate of the American International School of Johannesburg, South Africa, and a graduate of Messiah College, Mechanicsburg, Pa. She is employed by Debra Corn Specialized Family Care, Lafayette, Indiana.

He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. James L. Erb of Salem, Va. He is a graduate of Messiah College, Mechanicsburg, Pa., and is a graduate student in Mechanical Engineering at Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana.
