The Montgomery-Floyd Regional Library is sponsoring a Teen Volunteer Program in connection with the annual Summer Reading Program.
The teen program provides an opportunity for people 13 and older to become familiar with the library and its services and provides work experience at the volunteer level. Teens help with the children's summer programs, assist Summer Reading Program participants, and make posters and art work. Volunteers are recognized at the end of the summer.
Applications for the program are available at public and school libraries. The application is due at the branch library by Friday. Applicants will be notified of acceptance by phone.
