2 MEN ROB MAN AT HOME

A 57-year-old Southeast Roanoke man reported that he was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday morning outside his home. He was not injured.

Police gave this account of what happened: Bobby Bays was sitting in his front yard on Indian Village Lane about 10:30 a.m. when two men pulled up in a maroon car. One of the men got out of the car, holding a small pistol, and demanded money.

Bays told the man he did not have any money. But one of the robbers told Bays he knew Bays had just gotten paid and had money. He forced Bays into the house. Bays took $200 from his wallet and gave it to the man. Then the robbers drove away.

No arrest has been made.
