TIMES STAFF WRITER LAUDED

Bob Teitlebaum, high school sports editor for The Roanoke Times, has won the Marshall Johnson News Media Award given annually by the Virginia High School Coaches' Association.

The award is for work done to enhance high school athletics in the state of Virginia and is presented at the VHSCA clinic and all-star games July 8-11. It is named after the former state sports editor for The Associated Press.

Teitlebaum has been a staff writer for The Roanoke Times for 26 years.
