Allen birth
Taylor Erin Allen was born May 14, 1996, at 12:02 a.m., at Community Hospital. She weighed 8 lbs. 12 1/4 ozs., and was 20 1/4 inches long. Her proud parents are Eddie and Marilyn Allen. Our thanks to both the Labor and Delivery staff and the Nursing staff on 7th floor. The attending physician was Dr. Leigh Stockstill, thanks - you are the best! A great big thanks to Ruth Black ``Nana'' for staying with us for 10 days after we came home from the hospital.
Elwell birth
Delivered into this world on January 8, 1996, in Seoul, South Korea.
Delivered into our hearts and arms on May 15, 1996, in Richmond, Va.
Buck, Marsha (Hatfield) and Patrick Elwell joyfully announce the addition of Evan Jae Elwell to our family.
Howell birth
Big brother, Justin Terry Howell, age 3, is proud to announce the birth of his little brother, Joshua Nathan, on June 1, 1996 at 5:02 p.m. at Lewis-Gale Medical Center. He weighed 9 lbs. 6 ozs. and was 22 inches long. His proud parents are Terry and Melissa Howell. His proud grandparents are Nathan and JoAnn Tester and Terry, Sr. and Mary Alice Howell.
Special thanks to Dr. Carl Harms and Dr. William Kagey for Joshua's safe delivery and to Dr. Deborah Clapp for her care and understanding throughout our pregnancy. Thanks also to all of the nurses on 2 West. Thanks most of all to the Lord for our beautiful, healthy little Joshua.
Powell birth
Erika Delayne Powell was born June 4, 1996 at 4:46 p.m. She weighed 6 lbs. 3/4 ozs., and was 18 1/4 inches long.
Erika's proud parents are Derek and Betty Powell of Blacksburg.
She has two brothers, Michael and Christopher; and one sister, Ashleigh.
Her grandparents are Billy and Alma Powell of Columbus, MS, and Patricia Dickerson of Blacksburg.
Erika was delivered at Columbia/ Montgomery Regional's birthing center in Blacksburg by Dr. Linda Morrow and her dad.
Our sincere thanks and appreciation go out to Dr. Morrow and Dr. Young, Phyllis Turk, CNM, and all the nurses at the center for providing such great care during the birth of our little girl.
Wolfe birth
Erica Danielle Wolfe was born May 17, 1996 at 11:34 a.m. in Roanoke, Va. She weighed 7 lbs. 6 1/4 ozs. and was 21 inches long. Erica's proud parents are Ray D. and Clarissa R. Wolfe of Buchanan. Big brother Christopher S. Ma rtin, is 10 years old. Grandparents are James and Carolyn McDaniel and Ray and Judith Wolfe. Dr. Farber was the attending physician.
