ARSENAL HAS CHANGE OF COMMAND

A new commander was named at the Radford Army Ammunition Plant on Friday.

Lt. Col. Paul E. Wojciechowski, who most recently served as the U.S. Army Environmental Center's base closure division chief, assumed command from Lt. Col. John R. Loyd.

Loyd will attend the Naval War College in Newport, R.I.

Wojciechowski is a member of the U.S. Army Chemical Corps and has served in a variety of staff and command positions within the armed forces for 19 years. In 1990, he was program manager for chemical demilitarization in the Army, where he helped start and operate the world's first chemical agent incinerators.

He also has served as commander of the Newport Army Ammunition Plant in Indiana.
