The results of the Commonwealth Games women's Senior A bowling were incorrect in Monday's editions. Mildred Clark won the gold medal, Lou Hahn took home the silver, and Yvonne Utt won the bronze.

Also in the Commonwealth Games, the 12-and-under AAU boy's basketball champions were reported incorrectly. The Roanoke Valley Haguars won the gold medal.
