A Bedford man died early Saturday morning in a three-car accident on Virginia 122.
Ronald David Overstreet, 20, was traveling south on Virginia 122, two-tenths of a mile south of Virginia 24, in Bedford County about 1 a.m. when he lost control of his vehicle and was struck by another car, State Trooper G.R. Snead said.
Both cars then were struck by a third vehicle after coming to a rest, Snead said. Overstreet died at the scene.
State police were unable to provide information on the identities or conditions of the occupants of the other cars. |- Staff report
