Nationwide Homes in Martinsville plans to fill 75 new positions in the next six weeks, the company said Thursday.
The company will hold a job fair for skilled and nonskilled workers Saturday at Martinsville's Best Western Hotel. An expansion of the company's plant created the need for additional workers.
More than 50 production jobs are available, including rough and trim carpenters, plumbers, electricians, painters and drywall installers and finishers.
Other jobs to be filled are for experienced architectural draftspeople, office clerical and secretarial workers, quality control inspectors, salespeople and production supervisors.
John Adams, human resource manager for Nationwide, said the standard hourly rate for nonskilled entry level positions is $7.20. Skilled positions start in the $9 to $10 range.
Employees can expect at least a 50 cent raise after two months with the company, Adams said.
Potential employees will have the opportunity to interview between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.
