The Montgomery County Board of Supervisors will be making an appointment to the following boards:
Adjustment and Appeals Board: This board meets to hear appeals regarding decisions made by the building inspector. Meetings are held on an as-needed basis. This appointment is for a five-year term.
Agency on Aging: This agency serves as the governing body for an agency offering a spectrum of services which allows older individuals to maintain independence. Members make policy and fiscal management decisions. Meetings are held quarterly at the Agency on Aging Building in Pulaski. This is a one-year appointment.
Incumbents and interested Montgomery County residents who are registered voters and in good tax standing should submit a letter of intent to Betty S. Thomas, county administrator, P.O. Box 806, Christiansburg, Va. 24073-0806. Deadline is Sept. 16.
