ROANOKE REGIONAL ECONOMIC INDICATORS

The number of homes sold in the Roanoke Valley was marginally higher in September compared to the same month last year. The increase from 319 to 321 represented a change of 0.6 percent. The number was down 4.2 percent compared to 335 houses sold in August.

The median price of the houses sold last month was $103,000. The most expensive house listed for $399,950 and sold for $380,000. The least expensive listed for $30,000 and sold for $16,000.
