Melissa Dixon had 24 of her game-high 33 points in the second half Monday night as Tunstall defeated Martinsville 70-68 in a non-district game in Dry Fork.
Tunstall (3-7) won the third quarter 22-17 to take the lead in what was a tight game throughout. Stephanie Brumfield added 13 points for the Trojans.
Martinsville (8-4) got 19 points from Erica Brandon and 18 from Tiffany Watkins. The Bulldogs won the fourth quarter but never took the lead down the stretch.
Rural Retreat 69, Grayson County 46: The Indians jumped out to a quick start and had little trouble with the Blue Devils in a non-district matchup in Rural Retreat.
Jane Grubb paced the Indians (8-5) with 12 points and Krystal Dale and Kristie Osborne pitched in 10 apiece. Osborne and Dale each had six points in the first period, when Rural Retreat registered a 25-8 punch.
Lindsey Carico led all scorers with 26 points for Grayson County (3-10).
Giles 61, Bland 29: Kristen White led a balanced scoring attack with 15 points as the Spartans whipped Bland in Pearisburg.
White added 13 rebounds as Giles improved to 5-7.
Jennifer Winters paced the winless Rockets (0-10) with 10 points.
