Roanoke Catholic was shut out in the second half as it dropped a 20-13 decision to St. Christopher's in a non-conference game Saturday at Victory Stadium.
There were only 14 pass attempts and four completions as strong winds affected the game. Gene Leftwich intercepted three St.Christopher's passes inside the 10-yard line for the Celtics.
Aki Al-Zubaidi opened the scoring for Catholic with a 27-yard scramble on fourth down in the first quarter. After a St.Christopher's touchdown, P.J. Moyer rumbled in from 4 yards as the Celtics took a 13-7 lead.
Jimmy Leppert finished the first-half scoring with the second of his three touchdowns. Leppert notched his third touchdown in the fourth quarter to give the visitors the victory.
P.J. Moyer led the Catholic (5-3) with 106 yards on 24 carries.
