VA. TRUCKER KILLED IN W.VA. CRASH

A Virginia truck driver died after losing control of his tractor-trailer on Interstate 64 in Summers County, state police said.

Richard Bowling Jr., 22, of Herndon was hauling a dry, nontoxic chemical used to make plastic foam, which spilled Saturday and blocked both westbound lanes, said Sgt. K.D. Hedrick in Hinton. He did not know the name of the chemical. The spill was cleared within 12 hours, he said Sunday.

No other injuries were reported.
