VINTON BEGINS LEAF COLLECTION OCT. 28

The Vinton Public Works Department will begin collecting leaves next week. Residents whose garbage is collected on Mondays and Tuesdays will have their leaves collected Monday through Nov. 6 and again from Nov. 18 through Nov. 27. Those with garbage collection on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays will have leaves collected Nov. 7 through 15 and from Dec. 2 through Dec. 11.

Residents should have leaves raked to the curb in front of their homes or to the alley where refuse is collected by 7:30 a.m. on the first day of collection. Bagged leaves will be collected on trash collection day. For more information, call 983-0646.
