Legionnaires' disease cases reported

State Health Department officials confirmed four New River Valley residents have Legionnaires' disease, a form of pneumonia that affects 10,000 to 15,000 people a year in the United States.

There is no apparent connection between the cases, but health officials say they are continuing to look for one.
