Tech official to talk about 'smart' road|
BLACKSBURG - Ray Pethtel, associate director for Virginia Tech's Center for Transportation Research and University Transportation Fellow, will talk on "The Smart Road: Where We Are, Where We're Going, and Why We're Doing It," at 4 p.m. Monday in 136 McBryde Hall.

Talk to mark Women's Health Month
BLACKSBURG - The Women's Center at Virginia Tech is sponsoring a presentation Tuesday to mark Women's Health Month during November.
At 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Karen Roberto from the university's Center for Gerontology will talk on "Older Women's Health Issues."
