Coon birth
Danielle Elizabeth Coon was born September 21, 1996, at 11:38 p.m. at Carilion Community Hospital. She weighed 6 lbs. 5 oz. and was 19 1/2 inches long. Her parents are Ernie and Darlene L. Coon. Pate rnal grandparents are Sue Underwood and the late Melvin Coon. Maternal grandparents are the late Wilfred M. and Irene P. LaPrade. Attending physician was Dr. Robert Vermillion (Physicians to Women).
Curry birth
Galen Lyle Curry was born on September 8, 1996 in Roanoke, VA at Carilion Roanoke Community Hospital to proud parents Barry K. and Carolyn (Caggiano) Curry. He weighed 9 lbs., 2 3/4 ounces. His family includes 2 brothers, Taylor, age 6, and Collin, age 5; a sister, Harper, age 2; maternal grandparents Paul and Sue Caggiano of Potomac, MD and Centreville, MD; and paternal grandparents Bettejane Meals of Easton, MD and Stanley Curry of Glen Burnie, MD.
Barry and Carolyn moved to Roanoke in January, 1996 after Barry's promotion to Commercial Finance Manager for the First Union National Bank of VA/MD/DC. Carolyn works in the home.
Hayes birth
Randy and Sonia Hayes proudly announce the birth of their son Maxwell Charles Hayes. The long awaited event took place at Community Hospital on August 14. Max weighed 9 lbs. 15.7 oz. The happy grandparents are Joe and Dot Hayes and Frank and Pat Early of Roanoke. The great-grandparents are Giles and Letha Holland of Salem and Hubert and Vernie Russell of Narrows. Max also has proud aunts and uncles: Julie and Melinda Hayes and Eric Early. Special thanks to Dr. Alvin Hurt and the nurses at Community.
Padgett birth
Hunter Padgett, age 21 months, would like to announce the birth of his baby sister, Haylee Elizabeth Padgett. Proud parents are Bill E. and Julie (Burnett) Padgett of Salem.
Haylee was born Friday, October 25, 1996 at 11:46 p.m. in Community Hospital. She weighed 8 lbs., 15 3/4 oz. and was 21" long. Dr. Lee McLennan was the attending physician.
Proud grandparents are Jim and Anne Burnett and Bill E. Padgett, Sr. and the late Billie Padgett, all of Roanoke, and great-grandmother, Rose Burnett of Radford.
In addition to Dr. McLennan, special thanks go to Dr. Steven Farber and the entire staff of OB/GYN. Assoc., the 7th floor mother/baby care and to our wonderful labor nurse, Michelle Dillon.
Webb birth
Vanetta Gentry and Richard Edward Webb III are proud to announce daughter, Ricayla Janee Webb, was born on August 5, at VA Baptist Hospital. She weighed 7 lbs. 6 oz. and was 19 in. long. Ricayla's parents would like to thank grandparent s Rose Webb of Roanoke and Joy Gentry of Lynchburg for their love and support. We love you, Ricayla.
