JILL A. JESSEE, daughter of state Trooper Dan Jessee of Hardy and Louellen Jessee of Roanoke, recently received a $1,000 past presidents scholarship from the Virginia State Police Association. Jessee, a junior majoring in mass communications at Emory and Henry College, was one of three top winners in the state. Jessee is a 1994 graduate of Salem High School.
ANDREW R. HOUGH of Roanoke recently received a law degree from Boston University.
ROBERT D. CRAWFORD of Roanoke recently received a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Alaska Southeast at Juneau.
ELIZABETH SWEENEY of Roanoke recently was awarded a scholarship from ADK, Theta Chapter, a professional teachers' sorority. Sweeney, a freshman at Appalachian State University, is majoring in secondary education with an emphasis in business and marketing education.
She is a 1996 graduate of Patrick Henry High School.
