Connor birth
Tracy and Caryn Connor are pleased to announce the birth of their son,
Robert Evan, born on November 2nd, 1996, weighing 8 lbs. 14 3/4 ozs., and was 21 1/2 inches long. Evan's proud big sister is Beverlie Anne Connor. Evan is the grandson of Wayne and Eilene Connor and of Robert ``Bob'' Terry and the late Kitty Terry. Evan is also the great-grandson of Annie Connor and Cecil Terry. Special friends and godparents of Evan are Wayne and Nancy McGuire.
LaPradd births
Gordon and Roxanne LaPradd, of Troutville, proudly announce the birth of their precious twin sons, Gordon Dunn and Dale Lee LaPradd. Born on October 6, 1996 at Community Hospital, Dunn arrived at 2:25 a.m. weighing 5 lbs. 9 ozs., and was 18 inches long, Dale arrived at 2:31 a.m. weighing 4 lbs. 11 3/4 ozs., and was 18 inches long. Maternal grandparents are Mary Margaret and the late Dunn N. (Junior) Thompson, Jr.; paternal grandparents are Patsy and Robert Sloan; all are of Roanoke. Many special thanks to Dr. Kurt Stockstill and Dr. Randall Falls and their staff. Also, thanks to the nurses at Community Hospital.
Tolley birth
Patrick Scott Tolley was born at Community Hospital on October 28, 1996, at 2:43 p.m. He weighed 7 lbs. 4 1/2 ozs., and was 21 1/2 inches long. Parents are Mark and Jodi Tolley. Patrick has two very proud big brothers, Matthew is almost 5 and Jonathan is 3 1/2. Grandparents are Joe and Joan Bell, and Leonard and Lorene Tolley. Dr. Jorge Garcia was our very patient attending physician. Special thanks to all of the following: to OBGYN Associates (Drs. Farber, Garcia and McLennan), and their wonderful staff, to Debbie Quinn and Pattie Bohannon for helping us through labor, to Dr. Clark for the epidural, to the excellent L&D staff, especially Johanna and our delivery nurse, Michelle Franklin, and to the 7th floor nurses, especially Joyce and Anne for the wonderful recovery. Also, to our family and friends for their continued prayers and support. Most importantly, we thank our Heavenly Father for the gift of our third, and final, healthy baby boy.
Tuck birth
With thankful hearts, we are proud to announce the birth of our Little Angel, Taylor Alana Tuck. Taylor was born at Community Hospital on September 10, 1996, at 9:05 p.m. Taylor weighed 6 lbs. 15 oz. and was 20 inches long. Taylor's proud parents are Timmy and Lisa Tuck of Bedford. Grandparents are Linda West, Ken and Carol Looney, and Jackie and Ruth Tuck. A very special thanks to Dr. Hancock and all the nurses who helped with the arrival of our daughter. Taylor, we love you very much, you are very special. You were definitely sent from heaven and you will always be Daddy's Little Girl.
