A 17-year-old Northwest Roanoke youth was robbed at gunpoint Monday night.
He was walking in the 1900 block of Hanover Avenue Northwest about 11 p.m. when a black Jeep pulled up behind him, police said. Several men were in the vehicle, and two of them wore ski masks.
The masked men brandished large-caliber handguns and demanded the teen's money. He threw $40 on the ground and fled.
