DeMya Walker scored a career-high 20 points as No.12 Virginia beat Wake Forest for the 36th straight time, 73-57 Saturday night in Charlottesville.
Wake Forest (3-3 overall, 0-1 ACC) is 1-38 against Virginia. The Demon Deacons' only victory was a 60-59 decision at University Hall on Jan. 13, 1978.
The Cavaliers (4-2, 1-0 ACC) played without Tora Suber, who got a spinal cord contusion against Georgia on Wednesday. Suber watched from the bench, the first game she's missed in her four-year career.
Monick Foote and Jackie Glessner had 11 points each for Virginia. Walker, who was 9-for-12 from the field, also had nine rebounds and four steals.

Guilford 82, Washington and Lee 60: Laura Haynes scored 21 points and Bari Nixon added 15 points and 16 rebounds as the Quakers (2-2, 2-0) used a 19-0 run in the first half to deal the Generals (2-3, 0-2) an Old Dominion Athletic Conference loss in Lexington.
Jessica Morton scored a career-high 19 points for Washington and Lee. Chrissy Burghardt added 18 points and Ansley Miller 13 for the Generals.
Ferrum 72, Chowan 65: In Greensboro, N.C., Margo Ferguson scored 14 points and had six assists to lead the Panthers to a non-conference victory over the Braves in the Greensboro Invitational Tournament.
Kim English added 13 points and nine rebounds and Melisa Buchanan contributed 12 points and 17 rebounds for Ferrum. Cassi Carter also scored 12 points.
Tonya Curry led the Braves with 18 points and 14 rebounds.
Hollins College 56, Virginia Wesleyan 54: Amy Worley scored 14 points and had 13 rebounds to lead Hollins (2-3, 1-2) to an ODAC victory over Virginia Wesleyan (1-4, 0-3) in Roanoke.
Sara Tweedy hit two free throws with 30 seconds remaining to boost Hollins to victory. Worley was 6 of 10 from the field and 2 of 3 from the free-throw line. Erica Williams had 11 rebounds to go with her 10 points and Tanya Holmes added 11 points.
Lee Lillefloren led Wesleyan with 16 points and 10 rebounds.
