HIGHLAND WOMAN ACCEPTS

At least two of the four women offered early admission by the Virginia Military Institute are Virginians.

Jennifer Jolin of Highland County has been accepted and will attend the formerly all-male school next fall, she told WDBJ (Channel 7).

Lauren Wagner of Richmond told The Roanoke Times on Saturday that she has been accepted, but has not decided if she will attend.
