Renny Lynch of Travel Professionals in Roanoke County said some international travelers will see the effect of British Airways' decision to split with USAir in the form of less convenience.
"We're kind of disappointed [at British Airways' announcement] because USAir is our primary carrier here in Roanoke," he said.
People who use USAir and British Airways for a single trip could find it a little less convenient in the future, he said.
The price of the trip shouldn't be affected though, he said, because of competition from other carriers.
