BLUE RIDGE PARKWAY

Traffic increased 3.6 percent last month on the Roanoke-area portion of the Blue Ridge Parkway. The number of vehicles entering the scenic highway in the Roanoke district also was up 5.4 percent from November 1995 and 19.9 percent from November 1994. The count dropped 4.3 percent in Virginia and 7.5 percent in North Carolina from last year.
