Tasha King scored 22 points as Rhode Island surged past Virginia Tech 69-58 in an Atlantic 10 game in Kingston, R.I.
The Hokies, who trailed 55-48 with 5:49 to play, went on a 10-3 run to tie the score at 58-58 with 3:07 remaining.
Rhode Island (6-14, 3-7) then scored the game's final 11 points.
Kim Seaver led Tech (6-15, 1-9) with 19 points.

Ferrum 57, Lynchburg 40: Marlo Ferguson scored17 points as the Panthers blew open a close game in the second half for a non-conference victory in Ferrum.
The Hornets (5-12) led 27-26 at the half, but hit just four of 41 shots (9.8 percent) after intermission.
Melisa Buchanan scored 11 points and pulled down 11 rebounds, while Cassi Carter added 12 points for Ferrum (8-9).
Liberty 88, Radford 72: Sharon Wilkerson scored 33 points to lead the Flames to a Big South Conference win at the Dedmon Center in Radford.
Wilkerson was 10-of-12 from the floor, 10-of-12 from the free-throw line and 3-for-3 on 3-point attempts.
Nakia Bridges and Kelli Tull scored 17 points each for Radford.
