Police captured a 19-year-old man, wanted in Arkansas on armed robbery charges, at the home of the man's mother.
State police Trooper Michael Spangler said he received an anonymous call Tuesday that Arvin Bradley Stanley was hiding at the house. State police and Smyth County sheriff's deputies surrounded the house and moved in, finding Stanley hiding under a bed.
Stanley allegedly robbed a grocery clerk at gunpoint in Marion County, Ark., according to the warrant issued by a Marion County Circuit Court. Stanley is also wanted on aggravated burglary and theft of property charges, said a FBI spokesman in Little Rock, Ark.
Stanley is being held in the Smyth County Jail pending extradition to Arkansas.
