Josh Williamson reached a major milestone Monday night by scoring 25 points in Glenvar's 69-51 Three Rivers District victory over visiting Radford.
Williamson reached the 1,000-point plateau with his effort. The Glenvar record for points in a career is 1,041. The Highlanders (9-9 overall, 4-5 district) have at least one regular-season game and the district tournament remaining.
Tony Hash led Radford (10-10, 7-2) with 15 points.

Holy Cross 78, Roanoke Catholic 47: Abraham Hughes paced the Gaels' first-quarter blitz in a Virginia Independent Conference victory over the Celtics in Lynchburg.
Hughes scored 10 of his 26 points in the opening period to help Holy Cross get off to a fast start. John Bumgarner added 19, Kaleb Buchanan 12 and Sherman Hughes 11 points.
Terron Reed led Catholic (6-14, 5-7) with 14 points.
North Cross 74, Hargrave Military Academy 55: Jeff Baetz scored 26 points and grabbed 12 rebounds as the Raiders held off a third-quarter rally to beat the Tigers in a VIC game at North Cross.
The Raiders (8-10, 5-8) led 41-19 at halftime, but Larry Washington scored eight of his 13 points during the third quarter to spark Hargrave Military. The Tigers (8-11, 4-9) cut the deficit to five, but Baetz scored 10 points in the fourth quarter as North Cross ended the threat.
Brandon LaCroix had 14 points for the Raiders, David Foster had 13 and Michael Stoeckle 12.
Hargrave Military got 12 points from George Dwight.
Girls
Roanoke Catholic 53, Virginia Episcopal 42: Christy Hinman scored 17 points to lead the Celtics (6-15) past Virginia Episcopal (5-9) in a non-conference game at Roanoke Catholic.
Hinman also had nine rebounds, four steals and three assists. Katie Dennehy added a career-high 14 points for the Celtics.
Hunter Daniel led Episcopal with a game-high 20 points.
