A 33-year-old woman was robbed Tuesday afternoon while leaving a store at Valley View Mall.
Police said Deborah Gray of Roanoke County walked into the parking lot outside Hecht's at noon. Two men walked up behind her. One picked her up and grabbed her purse, which contained an undisclosed amount of cash.
A witness saw the robbers leave the parking lot in a blue and white van.
An employee of Crossroads Shell at 4840 Williamson Road Northwest recovered Gray's purse behind the building.
