A police officer was shot twice in the leg while making a traffic stop Thursday night, authorities said.
Keith Honaker, a two-year officer with the Bramwell Police Department, was taken to Bluefield Regional Medical Center. A nursing supervisor said it appeared he would be ``OK.''
Honaker pulled the vehicle over because its taillights were not working and because it had no license plate, police said.
Police said they were searching for a two-door Oldsmobile that doesn't have any visible registration.
