PULASKI POLICE PROBE BUS STOP HARASSMENT

Town police are questioning a man reported to have made sexual remarks and gestures to a 14-year-old girl while she waited for her school bus.

The girl's mother reported the incidents to police, saying an unidentified man had been harassing her daughter. Cmdr. Ed Hogston said police patrolled the area near the bus stop on different days and stopped the man for questioning on Friday.

No charges have been filed, but Hogston said police will consult the commonwealth's attorney's office about the incidents.

The girl's mother and witnesses told police that the man made sexual gestures at the girl from his car, asked her to have sex with him and asked her for oral sex as recently as Thursday. The man made the comments over a period of several weeks, police said.

Hogston said police will release any charges made against the man as soon as they become available.
