The 290 homes sold in the Roanoke Valley last month represented a drop of 10.8 percent from the 325 sold in February 1996. There were 2,104 homes on the market in the Roanoke Valley at the end of last month, 524 of them added in February. On average, buyers paid 3.58 percent less than the listed price. Properties spent an average of 77 days on the market. The most expensive house listed for $349,900 and sold for $320,000 after 72 days. The cheapest listed for $24,950 and sold for $15,500 after 77 days.
