Richmond must win Tuesday night on the road to claim the ABL title.
Katie Smith sparked early scoring binges in the third and fourth quarters, and Columbus forced a decisive fifth game in the American Basketball League championship series with a 95-84 victory Sunday over the Richmond Rage.
Smith finished with 25 points and Valerie Still had 22 and 16 rebounds for the Quest, which earned the right to play for the first ABL title Tuesday night on its home floor. Columbus was 19-1 at Battelle Hall during the regular season.
Dawn Staley led Richmond with 21 points and Marta Sobral had 19.
