TECH STUDENT'S DEATH CALLED SUICIDE

A Virginia Tech student's death is being called a suicide by campus police who found the 18-year-old's body Monday morning.

Steven Ainey, a freshman from Exton, Pa., was found at the base of Lane Stadium on the east side, according to Tech officials. He was a general engineering major.

Although a medical examiner has not ruled the exact cause of death, police said they suspect Ainey jumped from the stadium's east-side stands.
