5 BUSINESS BANKRUPTCIES FILED

Five bankruptcies with business affiliations have been filed in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for Western Virginia at Roanoke.

Tanglewood Executive Suites, L.P. of Electric Road in Roanoke filed for reorganization and protection from creditors, estimating both assets and liabilities at more than $50,000. The company leases suites to commercial tenants.

Ceeka-Gatlinburg Inc. of Richlands filed for liquidation with assets of $19,600 and liabilities of $26,622. The company said it operates a restaurant.

Ceeka Development, LLC of Richlands filed for liquidation with assets of $125,700 and liabilities of $367,000. The company is in the real estate development business.

Randall Jones of Jonesville, who is self-employed in sales, filed for liquidation with assets of $74,550 and liabilities of $177,967.

Gilmer Wayne Kemp and Carol Jean Kemp of Hillsville filed for liquidation with assets of $31,653 and liabilities of $65,618. Gilmer Kemp is self-employed in lawn care.
