GENEVA BLOUNT

{LEAD} Geneva Blount, 71, of the 500 block of Liberty St., died May 29, 1994, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Blount was born in Norfolk. She was the daughter of the late Geneva and Philmore Jordan and was the widow of Robert Blount. She was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church, Norfolk.

{REST} Survivors include one daughter, Ruby Smith of Richmond; one sister, Aldonia Green of Norfolk; two grandchildren, Jeqwan Robert Smith and Xavier McKinsey, both of Richmond; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Friday in Mount Zion Baptist Church, Norfolk, by Dr. Charles Hart. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Pretlow's Funeral Home and from 10 a.m. to noon Friday at the church. Family and friends will assemble at 905 Lunenberg St., Norfolk, for the processional to the church.
