ANTHONY C. PEER

{LEAD} Anthony C. Peer, 15, of the 3700 block of Kings Mill Walk, a 10th grade student at Princess Anne High School, died June 1, 1994, in Virginia Beach General Hospital.

Anthony was born in Virginia Beach and was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. He was on the Junior Varsity Soccer Team at Princess Anne High and refereed soccer in the youth division.

{REST} He is survived by his mother, Mary Ellen Tate of Virginia Beach; his father, Anthony Peer of Milwaukee, Wis.; maternal grandparents, Billy G. ``Kelly'' and Lou Tate of Virginia Beach; paternal grandmother, Marion Peer of Milwaukee; five aunts, Cynthia Clarke of Presidio, Texas, Carol Hill of Marietta, Ga., Susan Hypes of Powhatan, Va., Kathleen Tudor of Ricon, Ga., and Barbara Townsend of Virginia Beach; and two uncles, Lt. Col. Michael Tate of Woodbridge, Va. and Sgt. Kelly Tate, USMC, of Jonesboro, Ga.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Virginia Beach, by Father Tom Caroluzza. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church from 7 to 9 p.m. today. Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, is handling arrangements.
