Mrs. Flowers was a native of Sebrell, Va., and was the widow of Henry Lee Flowers. She was retired as owner of Flowers 66 Service Station and was a member of Courtland Baptist Church and its WMU.
{REST} Survivors include four daughters, Lula Louise Bryant of Norfolk, Nellie Lorraine Foster of Colonial Heights, Oneta Florence Hancock and Joyce Evie Rabil, both of Franklin; two sons, James Joseph Flowers of Drewryville and Ralph Henry Flowers of Sedley; three sisters, Myra Burgess of Franklin, Eula Morris of Courtland and Irma Bunch of Seattle; one brother, Marvin Forrest of Sebrell; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Courtand Baptist Church with Dr. Gary Powell officiating. Burial will be in Southampton Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today and other times at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Garth Hancock, 1316 Clay St. in Franklin. Memorial donations may be made to Courtland Baptist Church.
