800 block of London Blvd. - 17-year-old said he was assaulted by four people in the men's room at a fast-food restaurant about 11:30 p.m. May 24.

ROBBERIES

400 block of Armstrong St. - 38-year-old said he was standing outside his car when he was robbed at gunpoint about midnight May 25.

DRUGS

3300 block of Hartford St. - 21-year-old man charged with possession of cocaine about 9 p.m. May 25.

BURGLARIES

800 block of Vermont Ave. - Electric knife and stove knobs taken from a vacant apartment between 3 p.m. May 23 and 1 p.m. May 24.

300 block of Mount Vernon Ave. - Refrigerator taken between 11 a.m. May 24 and 11 a.m. May 25.

100 block of Cambridge Ave. - Deadbolt removed from back door between 2 and 10 p.m. May 25. Nothing reported stolen.

600 block of High St. - Cash, clothing, duffle bags and figurines taken from art gallery between 10:30 p.m. May 25 and 8:30 a.m. May 26. Appeared items carefully selected by a burglar who spent a lot of time in the gallery.

GRAND LARCENIES

800 block of Crawford Parkway - 32-year-old said she had gone to Southside Gardens with a friend who wanted to buy drugs when her 1985 Ford LTD was stolen about 6 p.m. May 20. Vehicle recovered in the 2800 block of Peach St. Windows smashed.

200 block of Monitor Road - Propeller taken from boat between 2 p.m. May 15 and 2 p.m. May 21.

3000 block of High St. - Amplifier and speakers taken from car at repair shop between 12:30 p.m. May 20 and 8 a.m. May 25.

700 block of Crawford Parkway - Police handgun taken from parked car about 1 p.m. May 25.

WOUNDINGS, ASSAULTS

700 block of Seventh St. - 36-year-old man said he was shot at several times about 11:30 p.m. May 23 when he went to repair damage to an apartment window. One of the shots shattered the man's glasses. Threat found written on closet door: ``I'm going to kill you because you put us out.''

1200 block of King St. - 23-year-old said he was slashed in the face by man he asked not to ``do drugs'' by his house about 6:30 p.m. May 23. Suspect also stabbed victim in the back of his neck. Victim transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

1400 block of Green St. - 17-year-old said he was struck on the head with hammer and robbed about 11 a.m. May 24. Victim gave conflicting information.

100 block of Lexington Drive - 18-year-old said he was shot in the legs, broke a hip in the fall and was robbed about 10:30 p.m. May 25. Victim treated at Maryview Medical Center.

400 block of Chestnut St. - 23-year-old man charged with assault and robbery after hitting a man in the face and taking his necklaces about 9 p.m. May 25.

ROBBERIES

2900 block of Evergreen Ave. - 20-year-old said he was at a stop sign when he was robbed of his 1991 Dodge Spirit at gunpoint about 3:30 a.m. May 24. Vehicle recovered.

600 block of Lincoln St. - 50-year-old community volunteer said he was robbed at gunpoint of his 1978 Ford Granada and beaten while asking directions to the address of a client who had made a distress call about 4 a.m. May 25.

1600 block of Parker Ave. - 45-year-old said he had been driving a 1992 Dodge Spirit in Hampton when he was ordered a gunpoint to drive the suspect to Norfolk where another suspect was picked up and then to Portsmouth about 3 a.m. May 25. Victim said he tried to run away when the car stopped, but was chased and assaulted.

SEX CRIMES

Brighton - 32-year-old said she was grabbed and forced into a house where she was raped and sodomized by several people between 8 and 10:30 p.m. May 21.

DRUGS

2800 block of Deep Creek Blvd. - A 21-year-old was charged with possession of cocaine about 4 p.m. May 21.

2600 block of Columbus St. - 34-year-old man charged with possession of heroin about 11:30 a.m. May 25.

1100 block of Center Ave. - 75-year-old said he found someone sleeping in his car. Police arrested a 34-year-old man they found in the car for possession of cocaine and statutory burglary about 6 a.m. May 25.

100 block of Lexington Drive - 17-year-old man charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana about 2 p.m. May 25.

500 block of Edwards St. - 38-year-old man charged with trespassing and possession of cocaine about 5 p.m. May 26.

MISCELLANEOUS

1400 block of Green St. - 19-year-old charged with possessing a concealed weapon about 8:30 p.m. May 25. Concerned citizens in Washington Park said they saw him shoot at someone in their neighborhood.

600 block of Jefferson St. - Sliding glass kitchen door shot out in drive-by shooting about 10:30 p.m. May 25.

BURGLARIES

600 block of Jefferson St. - Washer and dryer taken from apartment between 9 p.m. May 20 and 8 a.m. May 23. Someone shot out windows, punched walls and drank beer while inside. Last tenants had been evicted. Suspects also entered apartment next door, but took nothing.

1000 block of Garfield St. - Money taken between 8:45 and 9:45 a.m. May 25. Victim suspects someone she knows.

1600 block of Portsmouth Blvd. - TV was taken from beauty shop between 3 p.m. May 25 and 7 a.m. May 26.

GRAND LARCENIES

3300 block of Downes St. - Amplifier and stereo box taken from a 1987 Chrysler LeBaron between 11:30 p.m. May 23 and 6:30 a.m. May 24.

300 block of Third St. - Stereo equipment, wires and tapes were taken from a Ford Mustang between 6:30 and 9:30 a.m. May 24.

1200 block of Wirt Ave. - 1979 Mazda RX-7 taken between midnight and 9:30 a.m. May 24. Vehicle recovered.

900 block of Nelson St. - 1992 Mazda reported taken from Franklin recovered about 9:30 a.m. May 25.

500 block of Madison St. - Car stereo, tool box and tools taken from a 1986 Chevy Nova between 3:30 a.m. May 25 and noon May 26.

1100 block of Fifth St. - Stereo, cigarette lighter, softballs and cigarettes taken from 1988 Ford Festiva between 6 a.m. May 25 and noon May 26.

30 block of Prospect Parkway - 9-year-old said another child threw a knife at him and took his bicycle about 1:30 p.m. May 24.

2000 block of Victory Blvd. - 19-year-old said a man who argued with him in the drive-through line at a fast-food restaurant put his car in reverse and hit him in the leg about 11:30 p.m. May 24.

400 block of Quantico St. - 24-year-old said his girlfriend's ex-boyfriend pointed a gun at this head and pulled the trigger three times before discovering the weapon was empty and hitting him with it about 9:30 p.m. May 25. Victim refused medical treatment.

300 block of Normandy St. - 14-year-old boy said he was shot when he ran from masked robber about 9 p.m. May 21.

First block of Parkside Place - 15-year-old said he was walking in the park when he was knocked down and robbed about 6 p.m. May 24.

SEX CRIMES

Elliott Avenue - 33-year-old said two men who offered her a ride to a convenience store tried to sexually assault her. The woman fought off her attackers at a ball field and escaped about midnight May 25.

1300 block of Victory Blvd. - 19-year-old man charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon about 8:30 p.m. May 25.

400 block of Dorset Ave. - 37-year-old said someone she knows threw a charcoal briquet at the window where she was standing about 2:30 p.m. May 26.

First block of Helm Street - German shepherd taken from backyard between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. May 19.

2700 block of Victory Blvd. - 1981 Ford Mustang taken between 7 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. May 26. Keys left in car.

First block of Independence St. - Purse, cash, driver's license and checks taken from 1990 Mitsubishi Eclipse between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. May 26.

ROBBERIES

2300 block of Portsmouth Blvd. - A 23-year-old said three people beat and robbed her about 10 p.m. May 17. Victim treated at Portsmouth General Hospital. Arrests made.

1200 block of Frederick Blvd. - Convenience store clerk robbed at gunpoint of store's night deposit about 9:30 a.m. May 26.

SEX CRIMES

700 block of Frederick Blvd. - 15-year-old said she was raped in a hotel room by a man who had given her a ride about 10:30 p.m. May 6.

DRUGS

3400 block of Westminster Court - 20-year-old woman charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine about 11:30 p.m. May 19. 25-year-old woman charged with possession of cocaine and possession of a firearm with drugs.

3500 block of Turnpike Road - 22-year-old man arrested after police recovered marijuana and cocaine during search about 1:30 a.m. May 19.

3400 block of Westminster Court - Two women arrested after narcotics agents recovered heroin during a search about 5:45 p.m. May 23.

MISCELLANEOUS

1800 block of Frederick Blvd. - 46-year-old driver of vehicle owned by Portsmouth schools said he heard a cracking noise while driving in the Jeffry Wilson community and found the windshield broken about 4:30 p.m. May 25.

4300 block of County St. - Miter box, saw, cordless drill, chain saw, tools and jack taken from shed between 1 p.m. May 5 and 1 p.m. May 13.

3400 block of Griffin St. - TV, VCR rewinder and money order taken between 5 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. May 3.

5900 block of High St. - 30-year-old said he was filling his car with gasoline when he was assaulted by a group of people about 9 p.m. May 25. Victim taken by ambulance to Maryview Medical Center.

3500 block of Towne Point Road - 34-year-old said he was putting air in his tire when he was assaulted by four men who attempted to rob him about 11 p.m. May 26.

6200 block of Hightower Road - 25-year-old said she was watching TV when she heard a loud noise and found bullet holes and 12-gauge shotgun slugs in the doors and walls about 11:30 p.m. May 23.

3800 block of Stateflower Court - Brick thrown through window about 9:30 p.m. May 25.
