She was the wife of the late A. Thompson Midgette and the daughter of Pascal and Ida Merrill Bailone. Mrs. Midgette was a native of Baltimore and moved to Buxton seven years ago. She was a secretary and worked for U.S. F & G Co. and Johns Hopkins University for many years. She was a Girl Scout leader and a member of the Buxton United Methodist Church.
{REST} Mrs. Midgette is survived by one daughter, Jennifer M. Scott and son-in-law, Michael Scott; and two granddaughters, Aleea and Hilary Scott, all of Buxton.
A memorial serivce will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday in Buxton United Methodist Church by the Rev. James Huskins. The family will receive friends at the home following the service. Twiford's Island Chapel, Hatteras, is handling arrangements.
