{LEAD} A horror story of a young woman abducted in daylight from the Fort Nelson Towers parking lot angers all of us. But the events that followed her traumatic ordeal are heartening.

A West Park View man, hearing screams on his street, did not hesitate to seek out the problem and another one did not refuse the injured woman entry into his home.

{REST} The two West Park View men were good citizens, risking their own safety to help someone in danger.

In a time of isolation and fear, when stories of people left to die in the street abound, it is good to know we still live in a community with caring people.
