JOHN B. MCGUIRE

{LEAD} John Benjamin McGuire, 56, a private investor, died June 2, 1994, in Hampton.

Mr. McGuire was born in Upland, Pa., and was a member of American Legion Post (NU)327. He was a Navy veteran and a Protestant.

{REST} Survivors include his wife, Charlene E. McGuire of Portsmouth; a son, John McGuire of Claymont, Del.; a sister, Eleanor Ellis of Ashton, Pa.; and a brother, David M. McGuire of Norfolk.

A graveside service will be conducted at noon Tuesday at Quantico National Cemetery by the Rev. Charles McGuire. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.
