ROOSEVELT JONES

{LEAD} Roosevelt Jones, 92, of Heritage Hall, died June 5, 1994, in Norfolk.

Mr. Jones was born in Virgilina, Va. He had retired from Public Works Center as a heavy equipment mechanic. He was the widower of Josie Jones and was a Mason.

{REST} Survivors include three grandchildren, Gerald P. and Victoria D. Jones of Virginia Beach and Kristin L. Thompson of Virginia Beach; and a daughter-in-law, Mary R. Jones of Virginia Beach.

The graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Rosewood Memorial Park by the Rev. Kelly J. Burris. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, is handling arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Kempsville Rescue Squad.
