ELIZABETH M. BRUCK

{LEAD} Elizabeth Marie Dollard ``Libby'' Bruck, 46, died June 6, 1994, in Mountainside Hospital, Glen Ridge, N.J..

She was born on October 26, 1947, in Washington D.C., where she lived most of her life before moving to Upper Montclair 10 years ago. She was also a summer resident of Southern Shores, N.C. Mrs. Bruck received her bachelor of arts from Gettysburg College in Gettysburg, Pa.; her masters in education at George Mason University in Fairfax, Va.; and her masters in urban planning from Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y. She was a member of Delta Gamma Sorority and the National Honor Society.

{REST} She served as a founding member of the Board of Trust for Dance Compass in Montclair, N.J., and also as Trustee of Parents Place and Whole Theater of Montclair, N.J., and of St. James Nursery School in Upper Montclair. She was also an active volunteer for the Montclair Art Museum, the New Jersey Chamber Music Society, the Parents Association of Montclair Kimberly Academy, and at St. James Episcopal Church in Upper Montclair.

Mrs. Bruck worked as the regional vice-president of Real Estate Development in the National Corporation for Housing Partnerships; director of the policy research department at the National Solid Waste Management Association; and as a producer for Reality Productions in New York.

She is survived by her husband, Peter J. Bruck; her daughter, Amanda E. Bruck; her son, Andrew J. Bruck, all of Upper Montclair, N.J.; and her parents, Andrew F. and Louise Biorndale Dollard of Kitty Hawk, N.C.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. James Episcopal Church, Valley Road and Bellevue Ave., Upper Montclair. Friends can visit the family today from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Shook's Cedar Grove Funeral Home, 486 Pompton Ave, Cedar Grove, N.J. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the New Community Garden at St. James or to the American Cancer Society.
