The ensemble, choreographed by founder Chuck Davis, aims to encourage cross-cultural exchange through African dance, song and costume.
{REST} Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students 12 and older. Tickets may be purchased at the door, or at Manteo Booksellers, Wachovia Bank in Kill Devil Hills and The Duck Duck Shop.
Schoolchildren who missed the opportunity to see the ensemble perform this winter because of bad weather will have a second opportunity today and Wednesday.
Performances have been rescheduled for Manteo Middle School students today at 1:45 p.m., at First Flight Middle School Wednesday at 8:15 a.m., and at Kitty Hawk Elementary School Wednesday at 1 p.m. Tickets are not required for schoolchildren attending these rescheduled shows.
