IFE TO MAKE DEAL WITH DOROTHY HAMILL

{LEAD} International Family Entertainment Inc., the Virginia Beach-based parent of The Family Channel, is to announce today a deal with Dorothy Hamill's Ice Capades. Officials of Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Ice Capades have said the talks centered on a potential sponsorship by IFE of a skating tour. Industry observers have said Hamill and IFE have likely also been discussing the creation of Ice Capades shows for Family Channel. Some sources said Hamill may be seeking an IFE investment in her company as well.
