WHITEHEAD, GERMANO HAILED\

{LEAD} Jimmy Whitehead and Georgia Germano were big winners recently at the Catholic High School spring athletic banquet.

The multiple-sports' athletes were named Male and Female Athletes of the Year respectively. Whitehead, a junior, was a three-sport star who excelled in football, basketball and baseball. Germano played basketball, volleyball and soccer. In soccer, she was honored as the team's Offensive Player of the Year.

{REST} Adam Lewandowski, who'll matriculate to Virginia in the fall, was honored as the Male Academic Athlete of the Year and Detrick Harmeyer received the female honor. Harmeyer is Penn State bound.

Male Athlete of the Year: Jimmy Whithead.

Female Athlete of the Year: Georgia Germano.

Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year: Adam Lewandowski.

Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year: Detrik Harmeyer.

Baseball MVP: Benny Brendt.

Softball MVP: Erin Osborne.

Boys Tennis: Jason Whisman.

Girls Tennis: Erin Newsome.

Boys Track: Lowell Faison.

Girls Track: Jennifer Griffith.

Golf: Paul Holley.

Girls Soccer Offensive MVP: Georgia Germano.
