CRIME LINE

{LEAD} Suffolk Detective D.J. George is asking for help finding the person who robbed a man at gunpoint.

Herman White was walking out of his house in the 900 block of Truman Road at about midnight April 5, when a man with a black revolver approached him and demanded everything he had.

White gave the man his brown leather wallet, and the man ran toward Sixth Street.

Police said he may have gotten into a gray, mid-sized car.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 20s, about 5 feet 6 inches tall with black hair and dark skin.
