MARJORIE C. MAYER

{LEAD} Marjorie Carlin Mayer, 76, died June 6, 1994, in her home.

She was a native and lifelong resident of Pittsburgh, Pa., before moving to Williamsburg four years ago. She was retired.

{REST} She is survived by her daughter, Linda Mayer Smith of Suffolk; a son, Thomas Carlin Mayer Sr.and his wife, Lois Wineland Mayer of Hong Kong; four grandchildren, Cynthia Mayer of Indianapolis, Ind., Thomas Carlin Mayer Jr. of Hong Kong, Laura LeCompte Smith and Lanz Travers Smith, both of Suffolk; a brother, Andrew Lanz Carlin of Jacksonville, Fla.; and an aunt Adelaide Lanz Booth of Mars, Pa.

Services will be private. Contributions may be donated to Chambrel at Williamsburg, 3800 Treyburn Drive, Williamsburg, Va. 23185. Bucktrout Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
